I haven’t seen it get that low since, but it’s been getting pretty close. I’ll see the price bounce up to its older high for about a week then come back down again. Apple really is trying to move these older versions out. On the flip side it would appear they can’t keep the less expensive iPads in stock, and for good reason; the less expensive is around $329. Recently I’ve started to see those drop below $300, so I’m beginning to wonder if there’s a problem across the board with the iPad. From my perspective the biggest problem is the price for all of them, especially for a device considered a casual media consumption device. For the kind of money a Pro demands you can get a very nice notebook. You really have to have a strong use-case to decide to purchase an iPad Pro for that kind of money, and I feel I do. But I’m afraid I’m an outlier, not mainstream.
