Hm, true. How could one trust Sony after their kill-your-CD-DVD-drive virus? OTOH, Michael Johnston just published a link to – can you imagine – Ken Rockwell in his latest post http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2016/01/fixed-lens-cameras.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+typepad%2FZSjz+%28The+Online+Photographer%29
And that jpg at http://www.kenrockwell.com/sony/a7/D3S_0489-1200.jpg shows more or less exactly what I was thinking about. Btw, I also had 28mm, 50mm, and 135mm lenses when I was young. FD lenses on a Canon A-1.

I still have issues with Sony’s α7 series of cameras. This past Christmas, while in Japan, I had an opportunity to go by a Bic Camera store and hold a few of the models. I even turned them on and looked at the menus. I’m still not convinced to consider a purchase of a Sony.

On the other hand, the fact that the X-Pro2 doesn’t have IBIS (in fact none of the Fuji cameras have it), while all my OM-Ds do, is something to seriously consider. It’s a feature I’ve used in the past to good effect.

So they’re definitely more interesting than the big players.
I’m still looking at Sony. Their prime lenses are expensive, but that’s relative if you compare their quality (as good as Leica). And the original A7 body is an absolute steal by now, even the Mk2 is cheaper than this Fuji X-Pro2. And yes, I would want IBIS, even if it’s not as good as Olympus’.
But that all has time. I’m so happy with the E-M10 and with the lenses I already have that I don’t really need something else. Would be interesting tho to see what my OM Zuiko 50mm/1.4 does on such a ‘digital back’ like those Sony cameras.
