Zoë loves to find secret spots from which to peek out and spy on the world. Zoë is a rather small cat, so I can understand why she has a tendency to shyly look out upon the world. I’ve found she’s happiest when I don’t say or do anything to call attention to her in one of those spots. Silent visual eye contact is all the acknowledgement she needs. She’ll spend quite a bit of time up there until she decides it’s time to do something else.

This photo is unique in that the original came out one stop underexposed and with a distinct warm cast. I used Affinity Photo 2 to edit the RAW file, then exported the results out as a JPEG. I’ll need to work with AP2 a bit more before I make a judgement call, or even offer something even remotely like a how-to.
