It’s been awhile since I stopped and photographed Orlando. Perhaps familiarity does breed contempt. Maybe that’s what drives me to travel long distances elsewhere. Driving home one day I happened to spot ongoing reconstruction on Orlando’s Citrus Bowl. According to the Wikipedia article, reconstruction will cost a modest $200 million. I never could afford to go to any games there, and with the bigger venue and the extra money flowing in, it’s going to get even more expensive.
Another rich playground for the rich.
