nintendo dicks

I still play Animal Crossing, but not nearly as much as I did during the height of the COVID pandemic. I still go in to collect bells or Nook Miles or whatever you can pick up along the way. I’ve made all the major milestones in the game, and picked up the latest DLC, which includes the Happy Home Paradise. One of the side trips is a fast trip to a random island that costs 1,000 Nook Miles. More than once I’ve come across small water features that look like dicks on the landscape. This one is a somewhat droopy dick. I bring this up because my island, which is named ClusterFck, was sanctioned by Nintendo over the name I’d given my island (and in which I take pride in). The only way they found out about it was when I submitted my little island as a dream. Here’s the content of Nintendo’s sanctioning email.

I named my island after my 20-plus years experience as a defense industry employee and what I’d experienced, especially in the last five or so years before my retirement. In spite of what the email says, the dream had been up for at least six months. My name is a cynical joke, nothing more. I would have spelled it out completely but for the fact there aren’t enough characters. This doesn’t stop Nintendo from taking my money every year, or allowing me to spend money on additional games.

If you think this isn’t titillating enough, then wait until the fall when in-game collectable elegant mushrooms start popping up underneath your islands’ trees. There’s some serious dicks for you.

sheep and goats

Matthew Chapter 25
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

I am reminded of what we as Christians are called to do in this verse. Especially when I read of how the governors of Florida and Texas bus and fly migrants from their borders up to Martha’s Vineyard or the Vice Presidents residence in Washington D.C. These words become especially sharp when I see the rich white nationalist Christians preach their prosperity gospel to other rich white nationalist Christians.

I have lost my religion because of such corruption within American Protestantism, and have been unchurched as a result for over a decade now. But I still have my faith and belief.
