I’m married and have two daughters. It enrages me that some other men can have the power and authority to decide what these women, or all other women, can do with their bodies. Their bodies are their own, and they have a fundamental right to do with them as they please, including determining if they carry a pregnancy to full term.

As a father I’ve watched my wife carry both our girls and then give birth. I’ve experienced the joy of new life coming into the world, and the joy of being their father. I’ve also experienced fear and anger due to poor medical help I’ve watched all three receive due to bad diagnoses, during both pregnancies, and while my girls were growing. I’ve seen the biases against women first hand through what all three have experienced.

What’s happening right now with Roe v. Wade is the ultimate example of minority rule. The rule of twisted, bigoted white conservative rule. Yeah, I’m also a white male, but that just makes me even sicker that my race and gender would do this to the three people I love more than any other.

I will do whatever it takes to reverse this. This will not, it cannot stand.
