Today was my second, and probably final day, to visit the Kansas City museums. So I spent the late morning to early afternoon roaming the sculpture garden, taking in the artwork in the bright Kansas sun. It was still chilly, but not cold like Saturday. I saw and experienced far more than I photographed.
Towards the end of my stay I walked over to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. I tried to look at the works they had inside, but I was drawn more to the outside works than the interior. After spending a week in a windowless office area I had to spend my time outdoors. Maybe next time when I can have a more balanced stay, or perhaps in the next two weeks when I have some spare time I’ll spend more time inside of both.
