Lunch in Osaka. Purchased across the street from the hotel in Japan’s equivalent of a 7/11. It was egg salad sandwiches and Japan’s equivalent of diet Pepsi. I have no idea where or why the English on the sandwich package. The Pepsi “Strong Zero” is a bit of a surprise as well. I’m assuming “Strong Zero” is a marketing attempt to distinguish diet Pepsi from all others in Japan. I think I should create a new brand of coffee for Japan, and call it Java Weak Hashmap (programmer’s inside joke here). It would fit in quite well with Suntory’s Boss Coffee.
