I don’t need Easter bunnies when I have a house full of Easter Gingers and Easter Torties. As usual the oldest felines, the Gingersnaps, got first dibs on attention this morning. Luke is in his usual kitchen spot supervising the human’s breakfast while Beau is off on the kitchen table contemplating I-don’t-know-what. To celebrate Easter both boys were fitted with new collars and bow ties. They were about $5 each. I love my cats, but not crazy like. I’m retired and on a budget, and so are they all.
Camera and lens were the Pen F and the PanLeica 1.4/25mm at f/1.8. And if Beau’s photo is less than your definition of sharp, well, as Henri Cartier-Bresson is alleged to have said, “Sharpness is a bourgeois concept.” Beau was actively looking around at the time, and cats aren’t going to sit still for anyone, especially cats in a dark area.
Looks sharp to me (says the guy whose eyesight has built-in soft focus).
