Gannett, owner of USA Today and hundreds of others wants “less opinion” in its newspapers and is paring it back considerably ( https://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2022/06/09/gannett-opinion-pages/ ). Apparently Gannett “readers don’t want to want us to tell them what to think.” Telling readers and watchers what to think is Fox’s bailiwick, which they do an extremely good job of.

This pretty much sums up how Fox looks at the horrors of January 6th. Which is to say they don’t see anything wrong in Trump’s attempted coup. Trump even threw Ivanka under the bus when she testified she believed Bill Barr’s assessment that the claim the 2020 presidential election was rigged was “bullshit.” In the process of throwing Ivanka under the bus, he also threw Bill Barr ( https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/10/us/politics/trump-ivanka-january-6-hearing.html ).
