I woke up this morning 3 am local east coast time to read Trump has won again, the worst possible outcome.

Many will declare it was Russian interference (primarily). Or a failure of the Democratic party (maybe). But this election is totally self-owned. America’s racist, misogynistic tendency did us in, and with us, the world. We knew the stakes, we had the evidence in front of us how bad Trump is. And still we voted against our own best self-interests because Harris was a woman of color.

Once again we have a whole series of losing pundits who kept predicting a blow-out for Harris. Fuck all of them.

I feel worse now than I did in 2016, because I know in advance, from past performance, what will happen now. And it will be worse the second time around.
