I finally procured two Raspberry Pi 5 SBCs. Over a month ago Parallax ( https://www.parallax.com ) sent me an email asking if I wanted to register for a notice from them if and when they received a shipment. I immediately signed up and then waited. Then, a little over a week ago I got that email and immediate placed my order with them. After waiting for seven days both Raspberry Pi 5 SBCs arrived today via UPS.

I have enough equipment that I can get at least one of them up and running, but that’s going to have to wait for several more days. Life intrudes. But at least I have them.

I also recieved a similar email from Adafruit asking if I wanted a similar notice if and when I could pre-order from them. I responded, but I have yet to hear anything back from Adafruit.
